Just like Resident Evil 2 Remake, RE3 offers to find very interesting items in the different safes. Here is a guide on how to open them with their secret combo.

Resident Evil 3: Remake — Safes codes and combos

Although there are only 3 safes in Resident Evil 3, these contain very important items that make it much easier to progress through Raccoon City. Here's a step-by-step guide to finding these treasures.

1st Safe - Streets of Raccoon City - Jill

In the streets of Raccoon City, you'll find yourself in a zombie-infested street with an electric generator, pay no attention to it and go straight up to the right and take the stairs. Going right again, you'll pass through a door that takes you to a sort of shed. You will face a safe with a note next to it giving you a little clue to the combination. "Aqua Cure," remember that name.

As you continue through the streets, you will come face to face with a pharmacy, which you can hardly miss. Inside it are ammunition and a green plant. But more importantly, an "Aqua Cure" sign on the back of the room will give you the combination of the trunk: 9 left, 1 right and 8 left. Now all you have to do is return to the vault and retrieve the sight for Jill's gun.

2nd Safe - Police Station R.P.D. - Carlos

In the first playable part, with Carlos, a purse is hidden in the police station. For Resident Evil 2 Remake players, it won't be a big surprise. It's in the Safe of the West Bureau in 1F. The code is in the darkroom on the same level, on the memo: left 9, right 15, left 7.

3rd Safe - The hospital - Carlos

This third chest is in the hospital and more precisely in the nurses' station in 2F. Don't waste your time looking for the combination here, it's not there. You'll have to wait until you get the hospital access card from the operating room in 1F.

In order to get this card, you will have to go to 2F and jump out the window to land in the courtyard of 1F to find the key to the lockers. Return to the locker room next to the staff room in 2F. The access card is in one of the lockers. Go back down to 1F, and enter the OR to find a note indicating the following combination: 9 clockwise and 3 counterclockwise. You have to open this locker before you inject Jill with the vaccine, after that it will be too late.
