Slakoth returns next week after Europe Community Day issues

The Community Day for June, celebrating Slakoth, went badly for European players. A problem with the functionality of the weather led to a drastic decrease in the spawn rate. As a result, Niantic has confirmed that a compensation day will be held at the beginning of July.

Shiny Spinda will be available in July!

As of July 1, the Shiny Form of Spinda is available for trainers to catch in Pokémon GO. This will be the first time we see the little bear in the game in this rare form!

Cranidos in the spotlight at Pokémon GO Fest Dortmund

Spoofing and fake GPS — Niantic goes to war with Global++

With the release of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite fast approaching, Niantic are suing Global++, a group which has developed spoofing and false GPS apps. Soon after the lawsuit became public knowledge, Global threw in the towel — disabling their site and social media profiles.

PokéStop requests now operational in India

Requesting PokéStops from developers Niantic is now possible for Level 40 players in India. This is a major step forward in the game's development around the world.

When are the Legendary Raids in June?

For the month of June, Wednesday nights between 6-7 p.m. are your time to take on Legendary Raids in Pokémon GO. First up is Cresselia, followed by Kyogre!

Unlock a legendary trio with the Pokémon GO Global Challenge!

The legendary trio of Entei, Suicune and Raikou will be available in Shiny Form thanks to players at the GO Fests in Chicago, Dortmund and Yokohama. To do this, trainers will have to complete many quests, both on location and across the world.

Shiny Horsea will be available tomorrow

Pokémon GO Fest Chicago will begin tomorrow! As the party goes on in the United States, the Horsea spawn rate will be increased throughout the world — and you'll even be able to find its Shiny Form!
